In order to complete maintenance on Urbana Champaign Sanitary District interceptor lines, Cross Construction will intermittently close a westbound lane of Kirby Avenue between Mayfair Road and Crescent Drive. Cross will close portions of this length as their operation moves.
Work will begin on Thursday, October 25, and end on Tuesday, October 30, weather permitting. The closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day and will reopen overnight. During the closures, westbound Kirby Avenue traffic will be reduced to one lane.
