New Speed Limit on Curtis Road
A Traffic Control Order was recently approved by the City Manager that will reduce the posted speed limit along Curtis Road, between Staley Road and Duncan Road, to 45 mph. The speed limit on that section of road is not currently posted, meaning it is effectively 55 mph. Development around the Curtis Road interchange has increased traffic in this area and this change will make the section safer and consistent with similar roads like Olympian Drive and Monticello Road.
