The Neil Street Corridor Improvement Plan and the Downtown Plaza Plan’s websites have been launched. These websites create critical communication portals for City of Champaign and the general public to learn about the on-going status of the projects, and keep up to date with the latest developments in the plans. The respective projects can be found online at Planourplaza.com and Neilstreetcorridor.com. The websites will help fill out the portfolio of engagement opportunities for the general public to interact with each project. Additionally, the portals will allow the City to communicate status updates and draft concepts to the general public as each project matures.
Each website introduces the project team, explains the projects, has news updates, and a location for residents to download pertinent documents. Additionally, the Plaza website has an opportunity for residents, property owners, and other interested parties to give input on what their vision for a downtown plaza would include in five words or less.
