Hoerr Construction will continue performing pre-cleaning and televising throughout the City of Champaign for the 2016 Sewer Lining Project. Sewer lining rehabilitates existing sewers to a like-new condition. Beginning on Wednesday, June 22, initial cleaning will begin on Wright Street between University Avenue and Springfield Avenue. All work is dependent on weather conditions.
Operations began at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016, and are planned for completion by 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, weather permitting. Operations are daytime only and will not impact travel occurring after 6:00 p.m. Buildings served by the sewers scheduled to be lined will be notified by door hanger at least 24 hours prior to lining. The public is encouraged to obey all construction signs or plan alternative routes to avoid this work.
