As part of the City’s 2016 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the concrete pavement on William Street from Mattis Avenue to Crescent Drive is being rehabilitated. The City’s contractor for the project, Feutz Contractors, will continue working; weather permitting, Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
Beginning Tuesday May 24, 2016, William Street between Mattis Avenue and Holiday Drive will become a one lane, one-way street. Traffic flow will be from Holiday Drive to Mattis Avenue or west to east.
Please pay close attention to construction signs, traffic control devices, and marked detours. Please do not park on the street near the construction site or in areas that are posted “No Parking.” Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents in the areas of construction.
