Due to decreased pedestrian and vehicle traffic, the City of Champaign and the University of Illinois have set several traffic signals on Campus to flash. The traffic signals at the following intersections will be set to flash both day and night:
City of Champaign
- Sixth Street and John Street
- Fourth Street and Daniel Street
University of Illinois
- Sixth Street and Armory Avenue
- Fourth Street and Gregory Drive
- Fourth Street and Peabody Drive
- Sixth Street and Gregory Drive
The traffic signals will be returned to normal operation on January 16, 2015, or once there is a sufficient increase in traffic.
