The GED just became more challenging—and is now offered only online. Students can prepare for the new exam using a free online GED test practice tool available through Champaign’s Public Library website.
Library cardholders can access Peterson’s Prep for the GED® from any computer where two full-length practice tests are available in English and Spanish. During the tests, individuals can register so their progress and scores can be saved. The library also offers Champaign cardholders free one-on-one tutoring in basic computer skills, by appointment.
Additional standardized practice tests available through the library include the PSAT, SAT, and ACT college entrance exams and the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT graduate school exams. Vocational exams include military, firefighting, nursing, law enforcement, and real estate.
