As part of the City’s 2013 Concrete Street Maintenance Project, GM Sipes Construction will continue work to reconstruct the pavement on Peach Street from Ashley Lane North to Devonshire Drive.
Due to the construction, it will be necessary to close Ashley Lane South at Peach Street beginning Monday, June 17. Peach Street will remain open to local and emergency traffic only.
The contractor will provide a flagger as needed to help direct traffic. Please be aware that there will also be temporary lane closures adjacent to the work while the new concrete is being placed. This work involves patching of the existing concrete pavement, complete replacement of some portions of the pavement, sidewalk repairs, and lawn restoration.
