Challenging and rewarding work, and a supportive team environment were the themes of the Police Services Representative information session on August 24 at the Champaign Police Department. Led by Police Services Unit Supervisor Kelly Brown, the session focused on the department’s history, job duties, salary and benefits, training schedule, and the selection process. The interactive session was an opportunity for interested individuals to learn more about the position, the department and City, and the hiring process, as well as to ask questions. Kelly also shared her own career path and experiences with the department over the last 26 years. Liz Borman from the Human Resources Department also attended. Applications for the position will continue to be accepted through August 28.
