The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in a shed at 1221 Holiday Dr., on January 31, 2022 at 3:21 p.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in the shed.
Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in a shed. Once on the scene, fire crews reported flames and smoke coming from the shed. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines and quickly extinguished the fire. The cause of this fire is accidental and attributed to outdoor gasoline power equipment. There were no firefighter or occupant injuries reported.
