Chester Street Road Closure
(between Neil Street and Walnut Street)
In order to replace an HVAC unit on the roof of the Champaign City Building, Helms will place a crane on Chester Street between Neil Street and Walnut Street. The closure will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., weather permitting. Westbound traffic will not be permitted on Chester Street during this closure.
The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling near work zones.
