In order to complete a water main repair at the intersection of Randolph Street and Church Street, Illinois American Water Company will be closing the following lanes in Downtown Champaign:
- The eastbound lane of Church Street will be closed between State Street and Randolph Street. Southbound State Street traffic will not be allowed to turn east onto Church Street. The westbound lane of Church Street will remain open.
- One northbound lane of Randolph Street will be closed between Park Street and Church Street. Traffic will be reduced to one northbound lane in the area.
The closures will begin on Tuesday, October 6, and will reopen by Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
