City of Champaign Temporarily Suspends Spring Yard Waste Collection

On March 30, 2020, Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen issued COVID-19 Related Emergency Order 20-09 to postpone the start of the April and May spring yard waste collection until further notice. In response to the current public health emergency, the Public Works Department has reduced staff to responding to life safety emergencies only and thus cannot comply with the scheduled start of the spring yard waste collection. The Public Works Director will announce rescheduled dates once feasible.
