From July 15-19, 2019, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) conducted onsite monitoring of the City of Champaign’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City received the HUD monitoring visit results on September 16, and is excited to report there were no Findings and no Concerns. The purpose of the visit is to assess the City’s performance and compliance with applicable Federal requirements. Program performance was assessed through a review of operations, file documentation and interviews, as well as onsite inspections. The City of Champaign was recognized for carrying out valuable programs that are successfully supporting housing and community development activities.
