Neil Street Lane Closures North of Springfield
(Emergency Water Main Repair)
In order to complete an emergency water main repair, Illinois American Water has closed two southbound lanes of Neil Street, just north of Springfield Avenue.
The closure began on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 and will reopen on Friday, May 24, 2019.
During the closure, southbound traffic has been shifted to the turn lane and reduced to one lane in the area.
The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
