As reported earlier this summer, the City-produced video Body Cameras: CPD’s New Tool to Protect and Serve was recognized as a finalist for a national award from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA). On September 7, during 3CMA’s Annual Conference, the City was presented with an Award of Distinction (3rd place) in 3CMA’s prestigious Savvy Awards competition.
The Communications Division shares this honor with staff from the Champaign Police Department who worked on or starred in the video production.
