Board and Commission Vacancies

The City of Champaign relies upon the experience and expertise of our residents to help guide the ongoing development of our community.  Volunteering to serve on a Board or Commission is a great way to give back to your community.  The City currently has the following Board/Commission vacancies:

• Code Review and Appeals Board (Mechanical Engineer)
• Historic Preservation Commission (Voting & 2 Alternates)
• Human Relations Commission (2 Voting)
• Zoning Board of Appeals (Alternate)

If you’re interested in serving, complete an online application.  The Mayor reviews applications and appoints qualified individuals to fill vacant positions on a regular, ongoing basis.  All Board and Commission appointments must also be approved by the City Council.
