On January 6, 2015, police sent through a referral for a unit open to intrusion. David Oliver, Code Compliance Manager, researched the property’s ownership and made some inquiries. He assigned the case to Kim Burnett, Environmental Inspector, and she went and and verified that the unit was open to intrusion.
The front door was without a door knob or deadbolt lock and Kim was able to push the door open without any effort. The property was posted with a 24 Hour Notice and Kim was able to obtain information and phone numbers posted on the property by the Property Preservation Company.
Kim contacted the company and spoke with a representative who created a work order for the property. On January 8, 2015, an e-mail was sent from the preservation company, which indicated that the property had been secured the prior evening. They attached photos of such. It was completed in an efficient period of time and was professionally executed.
