Neighborhood Services Rehab Technicians, Joe Lewis and Susan Jones took the Home Maintenance Workshop on the road February 9th to Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County. Homebuyers of Habitat homes are required to attend many workshops to accustom them to their new home and financial responsibilities. Home maintenance will become an important part of their lives in the years to come. Joe discussed monthly, seasonal and yearly maintenance items and how to hire a contractor.
