City of Champaign Public Works Department will be upgrading more lights in the downtown area with energy efficient LED lighting over the next week. They will be installed on Neil Street and around the City Building. The lights will be similar to the street lights recently installed on University Ave. This project is partially funded through an incentive offered by Ameren and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
