Champaign Police Host Parkland Career Class for Tour, Talk

The students were guided through the facility by CPD personnel and learned about the duties and job requirements to serve as a police officer in Champaign.

This class is part of the Early College and Career Academy (ECCA) at Parkland College, a dual credit career pathway program for high school juniors and seniors. Students from 15 area high schools participate in one of nine different ECCA career pathway options, including law enforcement. Champaign Police are proud to collaborate with Parkland, the University of Illinois, and Unit 4 Schools to develop the next generation of leaders in our industry and our community.
