In order to perform storm sewer cleaning, Hoerr Construction will be closing the south lane of Springfield Avenue between New Street and Lynn Street. During this time, eastbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will be merged into the center turn lane through a short construction work zone. Westbound traffic on Springfield Avenue will remain unaffected.
Work is scheduled to occur sometime between 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Work operations and lane impacts are daytime only. Minor traffic delays may occur at work zones. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
