In order to complete an emergency water main repair, Illinois American Water has closed one southbound lane of Neil Street between Main Street and Park Avenue. The closure began on Monday, September 29, and will reopen on Friday, October 3, 2025, weather permitting. During the closure, southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
