The Community Safety and Justice Division Hosts the Blueprint Partner Quarterly Meeting

The Community Safety & Justice Division recently convened with Blueprint Partners and members of the evaluation team for the Community Gun Violence Reduction Blueprint quarterly strategic meeting, reaffirming their shared commitment to fostering a safer, more connected Champaign. The agenda was thoughtfully designed to balance meaningful policy dialogue with interactive team-building activities, encouraging both reflection and innovation.

One of the highlights of the day was a lunch meet-and-greet session featuring representatives from the Champaign Police Department and Unit 4 School District. This informal gathering provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration, exchange ideas, and explore new avenues for engagement. By bringing together voices from law enforcement, education, and community leadership, the event underscored the importance of unified efforts in promoting public safety and justice.

This session laid the groundwork for actionable strategies and deeper partnerships that will continue to shape a more resilient and inclusive community.
