In order to continue the sanitary sewer work for the South Downtown Sanitary Sewer Project, Stark Excavating will be closing a portion of northbound Neil Street between White Street to Springfield Avenue. Two-way traffic will be kept open on this section of Neil Street using a lane shift to have traffic run both north and south on the southbound side of Neil Street. Traffic will be directed through the lane shift using signage and barricades.
The new closure and traffic shift will begin Friday, March 22, 2024, and is expected to last several weeks. Businesses will remain open during this time. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather. More lane and/or road closures will be announced throughout the phases of the project.
