Construction delays at a new development at at 205, 207, 209 & 211 E. University Avenue resulted in the property becoming overgrown with weeds. On July 19, Neighborhood Services Property Maintenance Inspector Tim Spear issued a Notice to Abate to the owner, requiring them to address the overgrown vegetation by July 31. Spear met with the local property representative and informed them of the notice. The local property representative proceeded to have the overgrown vegetation cut ahead of the abatement date. Additionally, the representative indicated that they anticipated construction to commence soon on the site.
