Neighborhood Services Department staff met with partners for the monthly meeting of the Community Reinvestment Group (CRG). Members were pleased with the credit seminar attendance in April and would like to hold another credit seminar in October. The plan is to again host the meeting at the offices of Habitat for Humanity and to work collectively to market the seminar, including possibly a print or radio advertisement. The CRG has also decided to submit an application to participate in the Regional Neighborhood Network Conference being held in September. The group has decided to present a panel discussion that includes each different type of partner in the organization: Bank, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI), nonprofit agency, and municipal partner. The panel discussion will be focused on collaboration as well as public-private partnerships.
