The City’s Communications Division and Fire Department staff recently completed the video production of the Hoffman Awards ceremony held on October 10, 2018. This event honors citizens and members of local ambulance services in addition to Champaign Police Officers, Fire Fighters, and METCAD 9-1-1 Telecommunicators who displayed exemplary service to those they have sworn to serve and protect. The ceremony also included the pinning of new badges on the Fire Department Officers promoted or hired during the last year. The video runs frequently on Champaign Government Television (CGTV) and is also available for on-demand viewing on CGTV’s webpage and the City’s YouTube channel.
