The 2018 Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Countywide Celebration will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. This annual event is being held at the Vineyard Church, 1500 N. Lincoln Avenue, in Urbana. As always, this event is free and open to the public and will feature a presentation of awards and a keynote speaker.
Awards at the Celebration will honor Champaign County individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions, consistent with the philosophy and mission of Dr. King in community service, humanitarian work and the promotion of equal rights. Nominations are open until 5:00 p.m. on December 1, 2017.
