UPDATE: Suspect Identified in January 19 Bank Robbery

On January 19, 2017 at approximately 11:05 AM, Champaign Police Officers responded to Busey Bank, located at 3002 W. Windsor Road for a reported bank robbery.  Bank staff reported that a suspect entered the bank, jumped onto the counter and announced it was a robbery and demanded money.  An undetermined amount of currency was provided to the suspect who then fled on foot.

Champaign Police Detectives have interviewed witnesses and continued the investigation into this incident. As a result, 30-year-old Jeremy Larson of Champaign has been identified. Police are asking for the public’s help in determining Larson’s whereabouts.
