As part of the City’s 2014 Concrete Street Maintenance Project, a marked detour route will be posted with signs for the northbound lane of Fourth Street to facilitate work near Bradley Avenue. The detour will begin at the intersection of Fourth Street and Grove Street, then east on Grove Street to Fifth Street, then north on Fifth Street to Bradley Avenue. The detour will begin Thursday, July 24, 2014, weather permitting.
Please pay close attention to the marked detour route, construction signs, and traffic control devices. Please do not park on the street near the construction site or in areas that are posted “No Parking.” Please proceed cautiously through construction zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. The contractor will attempt to complete construction activities as soon as possible to minimize any inconvenience to the residents in the areas of construction.
