In order to test the weather proofing of the masonry on the south side of the City Building, the westbound lanes of University Avenue, between Walnut Street and Neil Street, will be closed on Saturday June 21, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Public Works staff will be on site, with the assistance of the Champaign Fire Department to conduct the testing. Please use caution if travelling in the area and obey all directional traffic signs to navigate around the closure.
