The Champaign Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team would like to notify the public of an upcoming training exercise.
WHAT: SWAT Team officers will be conducting a training exercise involving munitions. These munitions are strictly controlled and will not pose any threat to the surrounding neighborhood.

WHERE: Market Place Mall, 2000 N. Neil Street, Champaign
Signage will be erected at the training site to inform the public that the property is a designated training area.
