CITY TO CONDUCT DOWNTOWN SNOW CLEANUP
In an effort to remove snow-pack from the Downtown area, Public Works will be closing major streets in and out of the downtown area from on Saturday, January 11, 2014 and Sunday, January 12, 2014 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. These streets include Neil St., Walnut St., Main St., and University Ave. (between Neil St. and Chestnut St.). Crews will also address side streets in this area, in addition to City owned lots. All vehicles parked by meters must be removed by 2:00 a.m. on these days or they will be relocated. Downtown residents, merchants and visitors are encouraged to exercise caution as heavy equipment will be in the area in order to clean up the remaining snow.
