City of Champaign will be removing a hazardous tree on the northeast corner of South Lynn Street and West John Street. All traffic beginning at the corner of Elm and John Streets will be diverted.
Operations will begin on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 12 p.m., and are planned for completion and reopening by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
Local traffic on the 500 block of West John Street will be allowed to access driveways. A full closure of West John Street between Elm Street and Foley Avenue will occur.
The public is encouraged to obey all constructions signs and use Green Street or William Street as detours during this closure.
