A Surplus Property Giveaway was held in the Public Works storage building (formerly part of the Meadow Gold complex) on Thursday, December 20. There were two 2-hour sessions; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Fifteen organizations attended the event, and nearly every agency acquired one or more items at no cost to the agency. Public Works staff organized the event with Operations staff assisting in set up, loading, and disposal; and Traffic and Lighting staff providing signage.
