Springfield Avenue Lane Closure (between James Street and Edwin Street)

The Public Works Department will close the eastbound lane of Springfield Avenue between James Street and Edwin Street in order to facilitate tree work.  The closure will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2021, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.  Flaggers will be onsite to facilitate two-way traffic.  


Neil Street Lane Closure (between White Street and Springfield Avenue)

In order to repair a damaged hydrant and valve, Illinois American Water will close one southbound lane of Neil Street between White Street and Springfield Avenue. The closure will begin on Thursday, December 17, and will reopen on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during the closure.
