Freedom of Information Act Response Regarding Case 18-cv-2140

On October 17, 2017, at approximately 10:41 PM, Champaign Police responded to the 1500 block of Kiler Dr., Champaign for the report of a battery, resulting in the arrest of Alton Corey.

On May 23, 2018, a lawsuit was served by Corey (plaintiff) against the City of Champaign and Police Officers William Killin and Dillon Holloway related to this incident. In response to a Freedom of Information Act request from the media, and in keeping with the City’s commitment of transparency to our community, the below documents and videos related to the incident have been made available to the public.
