In order to perform storm sewer repairs, SNC Construction will be closing Russell Street between Springfield Avenue and Healey Street. Local traffic to private driveways and refuse pickup may access Russell Street from Springfield Avenue during this closure. Traffic on Healey Street and Springfield Avenue will remain open and unaffected by this project; however, minor traffic delays may occur at work zones.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, weather permitting.
