On June 17, 2025, the Ashland Park HOA held a neighborhood cleanup event to remove litter and debris from their north and south ponds adjacent to North Prospect Avenue. Nine neighborhood volunteers collected 12 bags of trash. Litter sticks, buckets and gloves, as well as snacks for volunteers, were provided by Neighborhood Services in support of the group’s efforts. HOA leadership estimates savings of approximately $1700.00 each time they coordinate a cleanup. The group has already planned their next cleanup event for June 21, 2025 to address litter in the commons area at Sharp Drive and Luria Lane.
