On Tuesday, June 10, the Champaign Farmers Market is moving to its former location at the southern end of the parking lot at the corner of Neil and Washington adjacent to the newly completed Downtown Plaza! The Champaign Farmers Market, hosted by The Land Connection, will be held every Tuesday through October 28 from 3 – 6 p.m. Both the City of Champaign and The Land Connection staff are excited to show off this new arrangement.
Also coming to the Farmers Market on June 10 is new musical programming brought to you by the City of Champaign – Rhythm and Roots on the Plaza main stage! While out browsing the market’s local vendors, the public are invited to enjoy live music from the Downtown Plaza stage, stop by the experience tent, play games, and more!
This year’s market is also a Downtown Festival District, allowing adults to enjoy alcoholic beverages from nearby participating businesses while shopping at the market or enjoying the musical performance in the Downtown Plaza.
