The 2025 Spring Yard Waste Collection provided every Champaign resident with two collection opportunities, one in April and one in May. During the collection, the Public Works Operations Division collected 84,352 bags of yard waste!
Residents who still have yard waste to dispose of may choose to compost their materials, contact a private hauler, or take their items to the Landscape Recycling Center in Urbana. The City’s next yard waste collection will occur in the fall.
