As part of the Garden Hills Drainage Improvements project, Duce construction will be working extended overnight hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) to complete storm sewer construction underneath the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks. Work will be confined within City and railroad right-of-way in the general vicinity of the 1700 block of Garden Hills Drive and the 1600 block of Joanne Lane. No road closures are expected.
Overnight work is currently scheduled for October 7-8 and October 9-10, 2024. Dates and working hours are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions. Crews will attempt to minimize noise and light impacts to the greatest extend possible, but residents in the area should be prepared for typical disruptions resulting from construction activities.
