April 10th, 2023 kicked off the 37th year of National Community Development Week, created in 1986 to bring national attention to the CDBG Program. During this time, grantees and service providers highlight the work with CDBG funds and the positive impact on our communities.
Since 1997, The City of Champaign has received nearly $21 million in CDBG funding. This has enabled the implementation of affordable housing development and rehabilitation projects, public services, and youth programming.
