In order to place a construction crane at 409 E. Chalmers, Custom Service Crane will close Fifth Street between Chalmers Street and Armory Avenue. The closure will begin on Wednesday, January 11, and the street will reopen on Thursday, January 12, 2023, weather permitting. Through traffic will not be allowed, but access will be maintained to all local properties.
