On December 14, 2022, the Police Department hosted an informational meeting for those interested in learning more about the City’s Police Service Representative I (PSR) position. The event was held both in-person and virtually and covered a variety of topics including: Police Department organizational structure, PSR I job duties and expectations, salary and benefits, training process, and the application process. The presentation concluded with a Q&A session. In-person participants were also given a tour of the Front Desk work area at the Police Department. Kelly Brown (Police Services Unit Supervisor) led the presentation along with Liz Borman (Assistant Human Resources Director).
Applications for Police Service Representative I are being accepted on a continuous basis at champaignil.gov/jobs. The job posting will remain open until filled. Applications submitted by December 18, 2022, will receive first consideration.
