Justice Victim Advocates Jarrel Young and Eric Toga (Equity and Engagement Dept.) canvassed Bloomington Rd. and Mattis Ave. for a Community Gun Violence Response Meeting scheduled for next Wednesday 9/7/22 at 6 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. This meeting is in response to a recent shooting incident in the neighborhood. Door to door canvassing helps get the word out about upcoming events and allows for community engagement with City staff. Neighborhood residents are invited to attend the upcoming Community Gun Violence Response meeting to discuss concerns and solutions. Clinicians will be in attendance to provide support to residents and to connect interested residents with resources.
