In order to complete pothole repair and locate utilities, Mid-Illinois will close Fifth Street between Green Street and John Street. The closure will begin on Monday, April 25, and will reopen on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. The street will be closed to through traffic, but access to all local properties will be maintained.
Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternative route as the closure may cause congestion for local traffic. This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
