The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in a residence at 804 Centennial Dr., Thursday, March 3, at 8:09 p.m. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire in this single-family home.
Firefighters responded to a report from an occupant of a fire in this two-story residence. Once on the scene, fire crews reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the attached two-car garage. Firefighters deployed multiple hose lines and quickly extinguished the fire primarily contained to the garage.
The cause of this fire is undetermined as investigators remain on the scene conducting their investigation. There were no firefighter or occupant injuries reported. The occupants of the building will be displaced as a result of the damage.
