Volunteering in the community is a great way to meet new people and research suggests it can also boost your mood! Lucky for you, the City of Champaign has a program where you can volunteer to Adopt A Drain. Not only would you be preventing pollution in our waterways and clearing drain blocking debris, you could also meet a neighbor or two while you are out clearing your drain.
There are thousands of drains available and this week we are highlighting two up for adoption at 501 N. Willis Avenue named Joy and Felicity. They are known for their optimism and positivity.
